You will need:

  • Empty big cans – 6 pieces;
  • Spray paint;
  • Primer;
  • Decoupage glue;
  • Paper decoupage napkins;
  • Rectangular piece of plywood or chipboard;
  • Straps or strips for decoration;
  • Painting brush;
  • PVA glue;
  • Scissors;
  • Mounting hooks;
  • Screws;
  • Ordinary or electric screwdriver.
How to do it:

For starter, wash and dry the cans. Use only cans that have automated opening or were being opened with a can opener to be sure that they won’t have sharp edges.
Use the primer on the cans and then paint them in milky color. This is necessary so the paper napkins would stick nicely to the surface. The most important thing is the dark color of the cans to be invisible when you stick the napkins on the top. Wait for the paint to dry well, before you take the next step.
