Do you want to make one cozy and pretty place at the yard or in your home? Today, we are going to introduce you one very interesting idea.
It is not necessary to buy new and expensive pots, because we are going to show you how to make original and unique flowerpots for the garden and put inside them your old pots with plants.
What is needed:
Cement;
Old towels (can be in different sizes and fabrics);
Old buckets;
Piece of nylon;
Rubber gloves.
How to do it:
Before you start doing anything, put some protection on your hands by wearing the gloves. Then make the cement solution by adding water to the cement in a bucket and mix until you get smooth mixture with consistency as a liquid cream.
Turn over the buckets. You can put them on a wooden or other type of timber, as it is shown on the picture.
Wrap the buckets with nylon, to be able to remove easily the cemented towels afterwards.
Dip the towels into the cement solution. They have to be fully soaked (without dry spots) and then get them out of the solution.
Cover every bucket with a towel. Make the bottoms even so there won’t be any visible folds, if you don’t do that your flowerpots will be unstable. Afterwards fix the folds on the sides as you like.
Let everything to dry out for a couple of days. When the towels are solid you can take them out of the buckets,
The new towel flowerpots you can paint or leave that way.
Now you have new and unique decoration for your garden. Put inside the flowerpots your favorite flowers and enjoy the view.
