Recipe: Gingerbread Cookies

I'm sharing with you an easy recipe for gingerbread cookies to make your home smell like Christmas longer.

  • 450 g. Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Ginger, powdered
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 160 g. Butter
  • 100 g. White sugar
  • 100 g. Brown sugar
  • 100 g. Honey
  • 1 Egg


  1. Combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the butter.
  3. Add the sugar and whisk until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
  4. Add the brown sugar and whisk until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
  5. Add the honey and whisk again until you have a creamy mixture.
  6. Add the egg and whisk until combined.
  7. Add the flour mixture and knead until the dough comes together into a ball.
  8. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
  9. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  10. Divide the dough into equal balls. Place the balls on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  11. Press the balls with a cookie cutter, fork or cup.
  12. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  13. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes.
  14. Enjoy
