
Ingredients
- 450 g. Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 tsp Ginger, powdered
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Allspice
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 160 g. Butter
- 100 g. White sugar
- 100 g. Brown sugar
- 100 g. Honey
- 1 Egg
Instructions
- Combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk the butter.
- Add the sugar and whisk until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Add the brown sugar and whisk until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Add the honey and whisk again until you have a creamy mixture.
- Add the egg and whisk until combined.
- Add the flour mixture and knead until the dough comes together into a ball.
- Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Divide the dough into equal balls. Place the balls on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Press the balls with a cookie cutter, fork or cup.
- Bake for about 10 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes.
